Hojae Chung
Hojae Chung graduate from the Pennsylvania State University School of Law in State College, Pennsylvania.
During his time there, he served as a writer for the Journal of Law and International Affairs and as a board member for the Second Amendment Law Society.
After Law School, Hojae began his career prosecuting domestic violence crimes and DUI offenses in the Twelfth Judicial District Attorney’s Office in New Mexico.
After that, he worked as a Deputy then Senior Deputy County Attorney in Yellowstone County, Montana. Hojae prosecuted everything from misdemeanors to felonies ranging from DUI offenses, Youth offenses, as well as the most serious violent and sexual offenses.
In 2025, feeling a need to serve Yellowstone County in a different way, Hojae began working for the Montana Office of Public Defender before opening Black Cat Law PLLC in 2026.
